Our Story

The Advot Fund was founded by the Vardi and Rozen families

After working in philanthropy for many years, supporting various organizations and initiatives, we realized that we wanted to focus our resources on creating a sustainable impact. Personal and family experiences showed us just how valuable complementary medicine can be, especially when facing health challenges. This inspired our vision to strengthen Israel’s healthcare system and to create broad, deep, and long-term change.

In early 2021, we founded the Advot Fund out of a profound sense of mission and a desire to deepen our contribution to Israeli society.

The Advot Fund is a philanthropic fund working to promote health and wellbeing in Israeli society by making integrative medicine accessible to all. Our activities focus on creating a solid and sustainable infrastructure for optimally embedding integrative medicine into Israel’s healthcare system, while expanding treatment options and ensuring high-quality care that is available to every person in Israeli society, across the entire country.

The Advot Model

A drop falling on water brings change across its surface. As the ripples move away from the center, they expand and take on a life of their own through the force of inertia.

This is how we see the role of philanthropy, in general, and our role, in particular. Like a stone dropped into water, the Advot Fund aspires to set into motion, in a gentle and flowing manner, a deep, determined and groundbreaking process that will ultimately grow stronger and continue by virtue of its own momentum, and by virtue of the various entities and establishments that will adopt it, in a sustainable and continuous manner.

The Advot Fund aspires to create long-term and sustainable circles of influence by driving fundamental change in infrastructure, consciousness, and policy. As a strategic philanthropy, we aim to embed integrative medicine into the healthcare system until our work is no longer needed and the government takes full responsibility for the field.

Partners on the Journey

The Advot Fund believes in the power of partnerships to create meaningful change in the health sector in Israel. We work together with a broad range of medical institutions, professional organizations, research centers, and leading nonprofits, and we thank them for their efforts in advancing our shared vision.
